How We Think About Partnership
We know it takes a community to make change, and that it is only through partnerships that we can get closer to our goal of interrupting intergenerational poverty.
The BEST Partner Network is made up of public, non-profit and private organizations working to create a more equitable community for Tulsa children and families by partnering with BEST in pursuit of shared goals.

The George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) plays a critical role in the coordination, alignment and evaluation of BEST in partnership with a network of public and non-profit partners. GKFF’s mission to provide every child with an equal opportunity is deeply reflected in its work and impact in the Tulsa community. GKFF’s four focus areas – parent engagement and early education, health and family well-being, vibrant and inclusive Tulsa and the BEST initiative – are woven with a common goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children in Tulsa.
ConnectFirst supports healthy pregnancies, births and early childhood development across Tulsa County. BEST partners work with ConnectFirst to provide families with critical navigation services along the pre-conception through age 8 continuum of care. The ConnectFirst team of nurses, family advocates, child development specialists and social workers ensure families have access to the knowledge and support they need to get the care they need and deserve.
