Director of Shared Leadership at the Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa

Shared leadership is critical to BEST’s approach, structures and enduring impact. The Director of Shared Leadership drives efforts to ensure BEST moves forward with decisions and input from all groups integral to its success. In addition to managing ongoing discussions with the BEST Leadership Team, this person leads the BEST Advisory Committee, supports the Managing Director in sharing lessons learned with other communities, and manages supports available to all BEST partners as well as community engagement initiatives and partnerships. This person manages the Associate Director of Partner Supports; community engagement staff; and communications staff, vendors and/or consultants.

Coordinator, Latinx and Hispanic Initiatives at Amplify

Amplify seeks a full-time Coordinator, Latinx and Hispanic Initiatives with a high level of initiative and exceptional organizational skills. The person in this role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of Amplify’s Latinx and Hispanic Initiatives, including outreach and recruitment; training of educators; technical assistance and quality coaching; parent engagement; resource creation, adaptation, and translation; data collection; budget monitoring; and grant reporting. The Coordinator will also assist in the identification, formulation, and implementation of future community-based initiatives. This person should be an “all hands on deck” team player, eager to work for an organization advancing broad social change in Tulsa.

Child Therapist – Child Family Strengthening Center at Family & Children’s Services

$3,000 sign on bonus! 

This position has the ability to be telehealth and work from home. Position carries case load of individual children, ages 4-18. Therapist may have to conduct intakes on children as young as 2 years old. Clients often have significant behavioral and emotional issues as well as living in high stress environments. Therapist is expected to provide family therapy monthly to families of the children on their case load. Therapist will conduct intakes, treatment plans, treatment plan updates for clients on their case load. Therapist provides Evidence Based Treatment to children and their families. Therapist also provides services for walk in clinic. There is also opportunity to run child groups. May provide services to adults as well for walk ins or provide services in Claremore, Broken Arrow or Owasso to mixed case load.

A Master’s degree in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited school. Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning. Must demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems. Must be licensed or under supervision for licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma. Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.

Community-Based Doula at Tulsa Birth Equity Initiative (TBEI)

The Community-Based Doula is a community health worker who will work with pregnant and postpartum women and their babies. The doula will promote healthy pregnancies, breastfeeding, and parent-infant attachment. While establishing a trusting relationship with young mothers and families, they will provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum support. They will focus especially on birthing support by providing emotional and educational support during each home visit.
